Running Win7 Ultimate 64-bit. This may be the first time I've tried burning under the purchased version, had no problems in the RC7. I Get an error message "There was an error burning to disc. The disc may be unsuable". I've tried using several new discs. I searched the internet, and made sure there were no files with a "$" in the extension as suggested. I've even tried just one file. I have both a Pioneer BluRay and an LG DVD-RW. Same problem on both.
