I know this subject has been beaten to death and posted in almost all forums here, but I just wanted to give the latest info:

EU regulators told Microsoft Friday that they were unimpressed with the software giant’s proposal to sell versions of its operating system without a browser built into it, saying that’s the wrong approach to ensuring browser competition.

This is stupid. For people who are new to pc's i bet they won't be able to get a browser and be calling tech support.

They should offer versions with certian browsers or just all browsers and uninstall the others.
