We are thrilled to announce the availability of Windows 11 Insider Preview Build 26120.961 (KB5038575) in the Dev Channel. This update marks a significant step in enhancing the Windows 11 experience for our dedicated testers. Here's a glimpse of what you can expect in this latest release:
Changes and Improvements:
- This update introduces a range of general improvements and fixes to enhance the overall experience for Insiders utilizing this build on their PCs.
Microsoft Store Update:
For Windows Insiders in the Canary, Dev, and Beta Channels running version 22405.xxxx.x of the Microsoft Store and higher, an exciting improvement is rolling out. Fast, safe checkout with Microsoft Wallet allows for quick and easy purchases in the Store using Microsoft Wallet. Earn Microsoft Rewards points and redeem them for gift cards during checkout to apply toward your purchase, making the Wallet feature a fast, safe, and convenient option.
Known Issues:
- Live Captions: An ongoing investigation is taking place regarding Live Captions potentially not working after installing this update.
- Task Manager: Navigating between different pages in Task Manager may cause Task Manager to crash.
Dev Channel Reminders:
- Updates in the Dev Channel are now based on Windows 11, version 24H2. Features and experiences included in these builds are subject to change based on feedback, and may not necessarily be released beyond Windows Insiders.
- Features in the Dev Channel are gradually rolled out to a subset of users using Control Feature Rollout technology, allowing for feedback monitoring before wider deployment.
- Windows Insiders in the Dev Channel can provide insights on localization issues via the Feedback Hub.
