Let me first say that I am not an IT person so any help would be appreciated but please keep it basic.
I run Windows 7 Home Premium and when I go to Facebook on one of two links that are in my favorites or on the favorites bar the computer locks and freezes. It then sorts itself out after about a minute and works ok. Today I tried to load a photograph onto my page and it will not let me do that so I went to the facebook settings and it had a complete wobbler, all sorts of letters and addresses appeared in the browser bar but it would not load settings at all. I have run a registry cleaner Speedy PC Pro and that has not fixed anything so any help or direction would be appreciated. By the way the PC also froze this morning when I tried to open an instruction PDF for my central heating but then it woke up and was ok
