Is there away to remove failed updates from the update history? I have 5 to be exact, Logitech webcam (3) on 12/17/08 and BFG Nvidia graphics card (2) on 9/26/08. What I believe to have happened is when I installed these products on my pc, the products, through automatic updates with in the software of each at installation, they automatically updated software and drivers. Then the following day there were some updates through Microsoft which included updates from the webcam and graphics card. When I selected ok to install updates a bunch passed and the Logitech failed and so did the graphics card. since that time I had no ill effects from either and they work perfectly fine. I have even received updates from both since the failures. I would just like to remove the failed updates from the update list.

I did a bit of googling and this link contains some info:
Link Removed due to 404 Error
and this one:
Delete a failed update - Vista Forums

There were a few more but in the same vein.

Normally, if an update fails then re-applied and successfully installed, the failed message should disappear...
