Windows 7 File Transfer crashes

I've been getting crashes with three different types of file transfers:
1. FireFTP plugin for Firefox
2. Filezilla
3. Windows Explorer accessing a shared folder on another computer.

Only Windows Explorer recovered back to usability, but the transfer was left incomplete.

Any ideas?

I have had no problems with windows explorer, filezilla, or fireftp. All of them transfer files correctly when needed. I would suggest right clicking on filezilla and properties and then compatibility then Windows Vista. See if that helps with the filezilla program if possible.
