Filesharing with an Windows 7 and a XP

    Recently, i bought a new windows 7 laptop. I have most of my files on my new comp from my old xp laptop, but there is some files that cannot be put onto my 2 gig flashdrive. i have done all of the steps in order to do a file share between the two but it still is not working. please help me!!!!!!

    Hi there,

    Hopefully you've figured it out by now, but in case not I'm happy to help. Have you done your entire data transfer using a 2 GB flash drive? There are much easier, faster ways. You could use Windows Easy Transfer, for one: Windows 7 features - Windows Easy Transfer - Microsoft Windows

    Or you could set up a shared network between your old and new computer, like this: Networking home computers running different versions of Windows
