Windows 10 Folder description

Hi and welcome to the forum

In most versions of Windows including Win10, when you create a folder icon on the desktop you can right click on the name of the folder and using your mouse, right-click on the folder icon which brings up the task menu or action menu with a big list of things you want to do with that icon shortcut. Towards the bottom of the list you will see the "Rename" option. Left-click and it will open up the folder icon name box for editing. You can type in whatever you want there, but the name is limited to 254 alphanumeric characters. Hit the enter key once you are satisfied with the folder icon name. Then when you hover your mouse cursor (the little white arrow) over the folder icon, it will automatically pop-up the folder icon name which usually has on it "location" or full path of the folder on your hard drive.

Folders do not have a metadata property Comment, so no you can't normally add a description on them
