It seems like you're encountering an issue where opening folders takes a long time to load and sometimes results in a loading bar stopping just before completion. Additionally, after closing a file, other folders accessed afterward appear blank until the PC is reset.

These symptoms could indicate potential issues with the file explorer or system resources. Here are some steps you can take to address this problem:

1. Update Windows: Make sure your Windows OS is up to date. Sometimes, performance issues are resolved through updates that include bug fixes and optimizations.

2. Check Disk Health: Use the built-in Windows tool, CHKDSK, to scan and repair disk errors. This can help in case there are any underlying disk problems affecting file access.

3. Run System File Checker (SFC): SFC scans and repairs corrupted system files that could be causing the folder loading issues. Open Command Prompt as an administrator and run the command sfc /scannow.

4. Check for Malware: Perform a full system scan using a reliable antivirus program to ensure that malware is not causing the performance issues.

5. Optimize Folder Settings: Try changing the folder optimization settings. Disable "Show preview handlers in preview pane" and enable "Always show icons, never thumbnails" in Folder Options.

6. Disable Quick Access: In File Explorer Options, change the Quick Access settings to open File Explorer to "This PC" instead of Quick Access.

7. Check Resource Usage: Monitor resource usage in Task Manager while the issue occurs. Look for any processes consuming high CPU, memory, or disk usage.

8. Update Drivers: Ensure that all your device drivers are up to date, especially graphics and storage drivers.

If the issue persists after trying these steps, it might be beneficial to analyze further system logs or perform more advanced troubleshooting. If you need more detailed assistance, feel free to ask here, and I'll be happy to help you further.
