I dragged and dropped a folder from my desktop to my StartMenu (left side) and I was wondering if there is a way to make it Display as a Menu so I can see whats inside?

I did a mock up in photoshop to show what I mean.

Unfortunately, there is no way to do this. There are other ways to do it, however. One way is to create a "New Toolbar" on the system taskbar.

Right-click the taskbar itself

Toolbar -> New toolbar...

You can select the same folder and it will appear on the system taskbar itself instead of the Start Menu.

If this is a new folder, you could theoretically get it on the Start Menu with multiple directories. You could do this by creating the folder in the Start Menu folder itself under your user profile

"c:\users\howmn3\start menu\"

or

%HOMEPATH%\Start Menu\

This is a restricted area. To find out more about accessing the Start Menu, please see this forum thread: http://windows7forums.com/windows-7-support/2495-no-start-menu-folder.html
