As the topic says my gadgets suddenly went away today when I unhooked my laptop from my monitor to take it to class.
Since then my gadgets are not shown even though sidebar is running in task manager and each individual one is shown to be running in the gadget monitor
I didnt mess with UAC as its on default level so that shouldnt be the problem
Any ideas?

EDIT: scratch that it seems when you right click the desktop and disable viewing of icons it turns gadgets off too so this is fixed
