Solution to Adjust Gamma/Brightness/Contrast Settings in Games:

  1. Update Graphics Drivers: Ensure that your graphics card drivers are up to date. Outdated drivers may not properly apply display settings. You can download the latest drivers from the NVIDIA website.
  2. Override Application Settings: Try overriding the application settings for gamma, brightness, and contrast in the NVIDIA Control Panel specifically for the games you are experiencing issues with. Here's how you can do it:
    • Open the NVIDIA Control Panel.
    • Navigate to "Manage 3D Settings" > "Program Settings."
    • Select the game from the drop-down menu or add it if it's not listed.
    • Adjust the gamma, brightness, and contrast settings to your preference.
    • Apply the changes and launch the game to see if the settings stick.
[]Check In-Game Settings: Some games have their own settings for gamma, brightness, and contrast that override system-wide settings. Make sure to check the in-game settings and adjust them accordingly. []Compatibility Mode: Try running the game in compatibility mode. Right-click on the game's executable, go to Properties, then the Compatibility tab, and try running the game in compatibility mode for an earlier version of Windows. []Check for Software Conflicts: Sometimes, third-party software or overlays can interfere with display settings in games. Try disabling any third-party software running in the background to see if it resolves the issue. []Monitor Calibration: If you have calibrated your monitor, ensure that the calibration profile is correctly applied and not causing conflicts with the game settings.
