FIXED-- I have a laptop with windows 7 installed, and the GeForce 9600M GT video card doesn't work. My computer knows the card is there, but it doesn't use it. I have updated the driver, and reinstalled it, but nothing has worked so far. Can anyone help?

Laptop say it's there? so whats the primary video card that its using instead???

Also did you get the official "M series" window 7 driver from Nvidia.com or laptop makers? as the standard nvidia drivers posted on most sites like Guru3d or filehippo etc are not the "M series" drivers.

that is the driver you tried? >>>
