getting an error D3DX9_42.DLL file is missing from my computer..

    After installing a game when , i want to start that application , i get n error D3DX9_42.DLL file is missing from my computer...

    i dont know what to do?
    due to this error i am not able to play any game on my system..

    please guide me through this..

    I am showing that file in a Firefox folder. Have you searched your system for the file?

    If this is an older game, perhaps you need to use some compatibility mode for it to install or run.

    I do not have DirectX 9 on my computer.
