There's a new hack for windows XP, Vista, Windows 7 and Windows 8 build 7700. God mode was first seen a few weeks ago and here's how to do it.

1). right click on the desktop a select new>folder
2). name the folder this, the green part. God Mode .{ED7BA470-8E54-465E-825C-99712043E01C}

tell me what you find out.

It has been around for a while. There was a similar "mode" in Xp, but with, of course, a different string.
All of the tasks in the "God Mode" list are already available in Control Panel. There is not a single new or hidden tweak here.
But if you like to play, there are quite a few more such strings in the registry. I have read that it is dangerous to use these in 64Bit. But I have tried them without consequences. - Have fun:
To make it work, create a new folder with any name, then a period, then one of the text strings below.
For example, the first one could be a folder named thanks.{00C6D95F-329C-409a-81D7-C46C66EA7F33}

RAK, How can we find what function each of your listed strings perform?

Thank You,
John

FYI: God Mode can also be named more appropriate and earthly names if one desires. I call mine "Master Task Mode". I like to use descriptive names for files and shortcuts, Microsoft likes to play God. I also find it much easier to find whichever function I am looking for in a "Master Task Mode" than all mixed up in "control panel". God Mode could also be called "control panel fixed".

The string beginning 62, I have not succeeded with at any time in Windows 7. Might be XP specific?

Cool:cool:..........Thanks much, my friend!
Perhaps now you are observing cyber-reincarnation.:D

You are both very welcome. Some of these little things are not so much technically useful, as just being plain fun to use!

If you want to read further into this item, Cybercore has put up a very useful informative thread from an original source he has found.
