Hi, I have an HP Pavilion dv6 laptop and I recently formatted and installed Windows 7 Ultimate. However I could not successfully install my graphics drivers. First, I installed the driver on HP's website. But now Intel Driver Update Utility says there is a newer version. When I download that newer version and try to install it, it gives me the error "The contents of this file cannot be unpacked" . I am also having the following problems. However I could not find a way to solve these problems other than using other driver utilities. I'd appreciate any help.

1) There is no brightness setting
2) Can't run any video games
3) Windows Experience Index doesn't work ( "The WEI for your system could not be completed")

Intel Core i5-3210M CPU 2.50 GHz
Intel HD Graphics 4000
Directx Latest Version Installed

Solution
Well, the first comment would be to download the files package again, and then run it by right-click on setup.exe and "run as administrator".

Hi, what do you mean with "other driver utilities"?
maybe the driver version is wrong, have you tried to use any automatic drivers software like Link Removed or driver detective?
