Windows 7 Halo Exception?

When I ever open up Halo it shows the splash screen but then says Gathering exception data. Is this happening to anyone else.

I have reinstalled 3 times and it always works before I update it to patch 1.08. Even 1.07 works, I think it may be the no CD thing included with patch 1.08, but it is required. Any ideas?

halo PC.......idk, but i use custom edition with no problems, however my CE is running on 1.06 and is "cracked" version, don't know how this affects running capabilites....

P.S. try a different driver.....


EDIT: try this: diable AA and AF for all games in the nvidia/ati control panel, this usually messes up the game even in other versions of windows..
