Windows Vista Hard Disk Porblems

For start: After I installed Acronis Disk Director Suite on my Vista Ultimate SP1 32bit on C: drive, I splitted my hard disk to an additional hard disk which is D:
When I restarted my computer I got an error saying "NTLDR is missing", I followed these insturctions: Link Removed - Invalid URLhttp://support.microsoft.com/kb/927392 and now I get this error: "Bootmgr is missing".
Then I tried to instert this line: "bcdedit /export C:\BCD_Backup" on the Command Prompt, and I got this:
"The store export operation has failed.
The disk structure is corrupted and unreadable."
These that actually means that my hard disk is broken and has to be replaced?
I have lots of important data on it, with no backup. Is there anyway I can restore it?

It does sound rather terminal... You could try a third party utility like this one for example:

Hard Drive Data Recovery Software, Disk Recovery &amp Data Recovery Tools - Stellar Data Recovery

but if that fails then you may just have to put this down to experience..
