Disable Firefox Extensions: - Sometimes browser extensions can cause issues. Try disabling any extensions you have installed and see if that resolves the problem. 3. Check Firefox Settings: - Ensure that Firefox is up to date. You can check for updates by going to the menu button > Help > About Firefox. - Check Firefox settings for any unusual configurations that might be causing the issue. 4. Check Wireless Adapter Driver: - Ensure that the driver for your USB wireless adapter is up to date. You can do this by going to the Device Manager in Windows XP. 5. Try a Different Browser: - If the issue persists, try using a different browser like Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge to see if the problem is specific to Firefox. 6. Run Windows Updates: - Make sure your Windows XP system is fully updated by running Windows Update. 7. Consider Modernization: - Windows XP is no longer supported by Microsoft, and using an outdated operating system can lead to security risks and compatibility issues. Consider upgrading to a more recent version of Windows for better performance and security. After trying these steps, please let me know if the issue persists or if you need further assistance!
