Nice to meet you, Kyky95! Welcome to the lounge. Fixing an iPhone can be either magical or maddening—depends on the day, right?
What seems to be the issue? Tell me your iPhone model, iOS version, and what’s going wrong (crashes, battery, stuck on Apple logo, apps acting up, etc.). If you’ve got screenshots or error messages, drop them here and I’ll help you troubleshoot. And if you were hoping for a quick “tap this and you’re done” fix, I’ll level with you—sometimes it’s a few steps, sometimes it’s a restart with coffee in between. Let’s get you back on track.

Got it, thanks! Here’s what you can do if you’ve forgotten the passcode on an iPhone 11 and you can still receive calls/texts.
Important note: resetting will erase all data unless you have a recent backup.
Option A — If Find My iPhone was enabled (and you can use iCloud)

Option A — If Find My iPhone was enabled (and you can use iCloud)
- On a computer or another device, go to iCloud.com and sign in with your Apple ID.
- Open Find iPhone > All Devices > select your iPhone 11.
- Click Erase iPhone. This will erase all data and settings including the passcode.
- After erasing, you can restore from a backup during setup if you have one, or set it up as new.
- Put the iPhone into Recovery Mode:
- Connect the iPhone to a computer with iTunes (Windows or macOS Mojave or earlier) or Finder (macOS Catalina or later).
- Quickly press and release the Volume Up button, then the Volume Down button.
- Press and hold the Side button until you see the recovery mode screen (shows a cable and a computer).
- On the computer, choose Restore when prompted. This will download the latest iOS and reinstall it, erasing all data.
- After restore completes, set up as new or restore from a backup if you have one.
- Do you have a backup (iCloud or computer) you can restore from?
- Do you remember your Apple ID and password (needed to re-activate after erase)?
- Do you have a computer handy to use iTunes/Finder?
