Hi all

Since some recent updates either Windows or Visual Studio I've been getting a BSOD with
ntoskrnl.exe being the nominated file causing issues and the following:

IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL

Seems to be happening at least once a day for the past 3 days so far so not sure what is the cause.

I've attached a heap of dump files as suggested, these have all been included in a folder and are attached here.

Any help/suggestions as to what is causing this and how to fix it would be appreciated.

Many thanks.

Hi Kemical
Thanks for the prompt reply.

I've basically done all of the above..i.e. updated drivers, updated some programs like Hotspot Shield, ensured I had Pinnacle up-to-date but couldn't do anything with MarvinBus64.sys in that area. I've unistalled Daemon Tools as I rarely use it anyway. Haven't done anything with the BIOS yet however looking at the ASUS website for my board the BIOS update only fixes some issues with some keyboards and I've never had any issues there. Also the method to flash the BIOS is a bit complicated so I am going to read up on it before I attempt to do anything there.

My BSOD only ever seemed to occur when my system went to sleep so I've also taken the step of changing my power management settings to just sleep the screen after a period of inactivity, the computer has been set to never go to sleep. I can handle the extra bit of power consumption from this if it means I'm not getting BSOD all the time when it takes a nap.

Will see how that goes and if it continues to happen will post some more details.

Again thanks for the help.
