I am thinking about upgrading my hdd with an ssd... my question is how do i do a clean install of windows 7?
I dont want to reinstall from a system image, and do not own a system installation disc.
I did make a system repair disc however, is this the same?

Please help guys  anything will be appreciated.

A system repair disk is simply that and will not allow you to re-install windows. You have a couple of options, I'm guessing you bought the system with windows pre-installed, yes? If so, depending on the vendor who sold you the system then they may be able to provide you with a disk.
Failing that then you will have to purchase a new copy of Windows I'm afraid.

They may charge you a small fee but do check with them. Tell them that you didn't receive any disks when you purchased the system.

    Fingers crossed!
