Hi all, I've been using Windows 7 since August courtesy of MSDNAA and for the most part I like but I find myself effectively unable to use sleep or hibernation because when I come from either there's a piercing tone coming from my speakers that occurs whenever I have an application that has sound running. When I restart the application the squeal might stop but it's replaced with a loud hissing. I have an Asus A8Js laptop with an HD Audio device. I've tried updating to the Realtek drivers from a couple of days ago (R235), but Windows refuses to update from the Microsoft HD Audio drivers. Any ideas, guys? Thanks!
