Windows 7 HomeGroup Problem in build 6956

I am having problems setting up a homegroup with 2 computers running build 6956.
I have tried multiple times to setup the homegroup but each time it tells me the password is incorrect when trying to add the second computer. I have tried setting it up on the desktop and then adding the laptop and vise versa. I have tried using the default password it gives me and also after changing the password to my own choice and nothing seems to work. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Have you tried creating a Homegroup without using a password? As in an unsecured one, just to see if it would work that way? And then add a password to it later? I simply skipped the whole Homegroup setup when I installed Win 7 cause I didn't need to set one up. So I'm not 100% sure if it will even let you do it that way... but it's a suggestion none the less...
