1 core 1 thread Pentium M, which was before the Core Duo (and quite a bit before the Core 2 duo), and didn't HT (since it was a P3 design, vs the P4 Prescott design).

E6750 Dual Core in the new computer.

Athlon 2500XP in the old computer.

I have two single core CPUs I think. I have no clue if that adds up to a Dual core processor but it sure is nice. They are both 3.2GHz

intel core 2 duo --> 2 cores (and i believe 2 threads) --1.6 gHz (Windows Vista)
intel atom --> 1 core, 2 threads --1.6gHz (OS X 10.5.6)

help with overclocking the atom would be appreciated :D
dont want to mess w/ the core2duo, its my school-computer and has all of my homework on it...needs to be stable

My main PC has 2 Cores.. (AMD Athlon 64 X2 5400+ 2.8GHZ)..
This will soon be changed though as I'm in the process of rebuilding my main PC.. gutting it completely and building it bigger and better.. I'm holding out for one of the new Core i7 32nm cpu's.. :) Most likely a Quad Core..

Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600 (Kentsfield) 2.40GHz Family 6 Model 15 (0F) Stepping 11 Revision B6 PAS 64GB APIC 0.0.0 CPUs 4 Cores 4

Where do you locate the threads?
