For those of us who use FF as a browser and wants to change that crappy new tab page. Here's how...

1: Type about:config in the address bar
2: click I'll be careful, I promise box
3: search for "browser.newtab.url"
4: right click and click modify
5: change to about:home
6: save and exit out.

Solution
If you're using Firefox and want to customize the new tab page, here's a simple guide to do so: 1. Type about:config in the address bar of your Firefox browser. 2. Click the "I'll be careful, I promise" box to proceed. 3. Search for "browser.newtab.url" in the search bar. 4. Right-click on the result and select "Modify". 5. Change the value to "about:home". 6. Save the changes and exit out of the settings. By following these steps, you can customize your Firefox browser to open a specific page when you open a new tab.
