Windows 7 How to clean install Windows 7 upgrade on new drive

I own Windows Vista 64bit, and have ordered Windows 7 Professional 64bit upgrade. How do I do a clean installation of Windows 7 on a new hard drive? Thanks for your help - IM

First, an upgrade disk won't boot ... but when you get a system booted you would go to the disk and run setup and go to Custom install. It may or may not want some kind of proof you have a Vista or XP disk... but there are reports that it doesn't actually check or verify you have a registered/activated version of Vista or XP. One person reported that he just booted an XP insall disk, started the install and swapped to the UPGRADE disk and used Custom to install to his clean drive.
