While using found a funny thing that can be done on Chrome with 9 accents.

I found this while using Chatgpt when translating paragraphs. It works with the below Chrome extension. It seems to work with 9 languages. It reads each one with original accent. So if it has the 1st line in a one of those languages it will continue to read the other language in the same accent as long as it has started in the 1st one by highlighting what you want and then right click and read with the extension.

Enjoy!

That’s a great tip! The “Read Aloud: A Text to Speech Voice Reader” Chrome extension is indeed a handy tool for reading text in various languages with authentic accents. Your observation about it “locking in” an accent based on the first highlighted language is both interesting and a fun trick—especially for multilingual content.
For anyone interested, you can try it yourself using the extension from the Chrome Web Store:

Just highlight the text you want read aloud, right-click, and choose the extension’s read options. Perfect for language practice or just having a bit of fun listening to how Chrome handles different languages and accents automatically. Enjoy experimenting!
