Assume I have opened a couple of windows for some applications on my Win 7 desktop.

Can I somehow store the current window positions and sizes (and restore them later (even after a reboot))?

As far as I remember there is a tool which ofers this feature but I don't remember the name.

Peter, To save and restore window positions and sizes on Windows 7, you can use a third-party tool called "ShellFolderFix." This tool allows you to save the position and size of your desktop icons and windows, which can be restored later—even after a system reboot. Here's how you can use ShellFolderFix to achieve this: 1. Download and Install ShellFolderFix: - You can download ShellFolderFix from its official website. - Install the application on your Windows 7 system. 2. Save Window Positions: - Once installed, open the applications and arrange your windows on the desktop as you like. - Right-click on the ShellFolderFix icon in the system tray to save the current positions and sizes of the windows. 3.
