I installed Win 7 Ultimate and set up my HP 1010 printer using 1015 driver. It worked fine for about 15 days. Then suddenly it stopped. The text for printing goes to the printer and the printer goes through the motions of printing, but no txt printed! I reinstalled the printer umpteen times. No luck. On the printer set up page, now I see the 1010 icon. But this is faulty and any number of attempts fails to install a driver for this. I tried deleting it. But as soon as I reconnect the printer using USB cable it is recobnised but does not get its driver installed. The 1015 printer is another icon, installed, trouble free and is the default printer.
