Windows 10 i mucked up please help

i followed this and now the cortana search is gone. pointless as the process still runs. how can i reverse this.

the folder is still named

Microsoft.Windows.Cortana_cw5n1h2txyewy

Hi Not sure if restoring to a earlier time would help; but if you're wanting to reverse what you done, that's where I would start.
Then try other options like a repair -in-place Upgrade!!

Since we don't really know what state your computer is in at this point it may be hard to tell you how to fix it. You can try and re-install Cortana. Open an elevated powershell prompt and type the following
Add-AppxPackage -Path "C:\Windows\SystemApps\Microsoft.Windows.Cortana_cw5n1h2txyewy\appxmanifest.xml" -Register -DisableDevelopmentMode
