Hash checking or name checking will be suitable.

Solution
Have you tried right clcicking - properties and marking it as read only?

You can still write to the file, but cannot save it with the same name.

Basically my problem is (long story short)

There is a publicly shared network share (win7, just basic workgroup setup), which has a constantly changing folder structure, someone has a virus on there computer, and basically it spam's every folder in there with a file. I don't want that file to be every written in that share.
