Hello all,
Every few days or so I get a BSOD, usually IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL but I have had SYSTEM_SERVICE_EXCEPTION a few times. I've had my computer for about 3 weeks now, and I'm running Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit. I've tried resitting every piece of hardware in my computer, I've ran chkdsk /r /f on my SSD and HDD, with no problems there. sfc /scannow doesn't find any integrity problems and memtest86 came up clean, also. My computer is fully updated through Windows Update, and I've updated all of my devices with the latest drivers (from the manufacturer websites). My Antivirus is AVG Premium.
I ran WhoCrashed and it came back with this:
On Sun 24/07/2011 15:07:23 GMT your computer crashed
crash dump file: C:\Windows\Minidump\072411-23790-01.dmp
This was probably caused by the following module: ntoskrnl.exe (nt+0x7FD00)
Bugcheck code: 0xA (0xFFFFF880033D27B0, 0x2, 0x1, 0xFFFFF80003096A76)
Error: IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL
file path: C:\Windows\system32\ntoskrnl.exe
product: Microsoft® Windows® Operating System
company: Microsoft Corporation
description: NT Kernel & System
Bug check description: This indicates that Microsoft Windows or a kernel-mode driver accessed paged memory at DISPATCH_LEVEL or above.
This appears to be a typical software driver bug and is not likely to be caused by a hardware problem.
The crash took place in the Windows kernel. Possibly this problem is caused by another driver which cannot be identified at this time.
My computer specs are as followed:
AMD Phenom X4 955 @ 3.20GHz
Sapphire ATI 5850 1GB XTREME
GA-870A-UD3 Motherboard Rev 3.0
OCZ ModXStream Pro 600w Silent SLI Certified Modular Power Supply
OCZ Gold 4GB (2x2GB) DDR3 PC3-10666C9 1333MHz Low-Voltage Dual Channel Kit
OCZ Agility Series 30GB 2.5" SATA-II Solid State Hard Drive (OCZSSD2-1AGT30G)
Samsung SpinPoint F3 1TB SATA-II 32MB Cache
My computer is in AHCI mode if that makes any difference, and I've tried both the native Windows 7 AHCI driver and the AMD one (the one I'm currently using atm).
I've attached the files that the stickies told me to attach, I'm sorry if they're not correct, just tell me and I'll get the right ones.
Thanks,
Absel
