Install failure

#1
Not too sure if this is the correct place to post this. I am attempting to install a program callede PdaNet. It keeps giving me an error during the installation:

updatedriverforplugandplaydevices err=0xe0000206

any ideas on what this is?

not sure but it may have to do with my windows 7 setup. I am running win 7 on an asus eee 900A netbook with a toned down version of the win 7 OS running (i used vlite to chop some things out of the OS to get it to fit on my solid state hard drive and still have some room left over)

Note: this same program installed flawlessly on my 64bit system ruuning windows 7 RC1

Hello and welcome to the windows7forums,

It could be due to the fact this program installs system drivers that are not certified and don't have a digital signature. and Microsoft is blocking them from installing.

Please look over this post:
