Today, we are thrilled to roll out Windows 11 Insider Preview Build 22635.3646 (KB5037858) to the Beta Channel. Friendly reminder: participants in the Beta Channel will receive updates based on Windows 11, version 23H2 via an enablement package (Build 22635.xxxx). Those keen on being first in line for gradually released features can activate the toggle in Settings > Windows Update for prompt access. Here's an overview of the essential updates, enhancements, and fixes included in this build:
Enhancements and Developments for the Beta Channel:
Gradual Improvements:
- This update incorporates a set of minor enhancements and fixes to enhance the overall user experience for insiders using this build on their PCs.
General Fixes for All in the Beta Channel:
- New Addition: Introducing PC Manager to devices in China.
- File Explorer Enhancement: Resolves an issue causing File Explorer to take up to two minutes to start when pinning a network share folder to Quick Access post-upgrade from Windows 11, version 21H2 to 22H2.
- TWAIN Drivers: Addresses issues with TWAIN drivers not responding in virtual environments.
- Numerous Fixes: Solved issues affecting various aspects like File Explorer disruptions, smart card icon display, folder context menu anomalies, and more for a seamless user experience.
