Windows 7 IPX/SPX Protocol

I know that support has been dropped for the IPX protocol but I still use it often to play older games via lan. Has anyone found a fix (I use Windows 7 RC 64-bit) and if not is there any indication to whether or not Microsoft will offer some sort of protocol to simulate the IPX protocol?
