Bird lover Eva Hueber could be forced to pay compensation for 'irresponsible feeding' and might even face prison for the mess the birds caused in the Austrian city of Villach.
The property management company on the estate where Ms Hueber lives is taking action for 'many years of irresponsible pigeon feeding'.
According to the Austrian Independent, the 80-year-old could even be jailed for regularly giving scraps of food to the birds.
A lawyer representing the property management company said the birds were a 'nuisance' and a 'threat to human health'.
She was reported to the police and is to be taken to court.
The property company claim the mess caused by the birds could seriously decrease the value of the properties on the estate.
