Is Intel HD Graphics 6000 Adequate for Gaming, or Should I Upgrade?

My current graphic is Intel HD Graphics 6000 1536 MB. Would this be considered good for gaming or should it be retina?

Depending on what kind of system your running (enough power requirements, PCIE slot, ect) then a dedicated graphics card will give you more performance.
