My problem is that one computer can see the other person's itunes library thru homesharing but the other one cannot. How do i make the other computer detect my itunes library on its homesharing?

Check Home Sharing Settings: - Verify that Home Sharing is enabled on both computers using the same Apple ID. - Open iTunes, go to "File" > "Home Sharing," and ensure it's turned on with the correct Apple ID. 7. Turn Off/On Home Sharing: - Turn off Home Sharing on both computers, wait for a few minutes, and then turn it back on. 8. Check Firewall Settings: - While you mentioned the firewalls are off, double-check the firewall settings to ensure they are not blocking iTunes or Home Sharing. 9. Reauthorize the Computers: - Deauthorize and then reauthorize both computers using the same Apple ID. 10. Clear iTunes Cache: - Clearing the iTunes cache on the computer that cannot detect the library might help. You can do this by stopping the iTunes-related services and deleting the iTunes cache folder. 11. Reset Router: - If all else fails, try resetting your router to refresh the network connections and settings. 12. Update Operating System: - Ensure both computers are running the latest updates for their operating systems. Sometimes, system updates can help in resolving network-related issues. By following these steps, you should be able to troubleshoot and resolve the issue of one computer not detecting the iTunes library through Home Sharing. If the issue persists, it might be beneficial to contact Apple Support for further assistance.
