Windows 7 Joining Wndows 7 VER 6.1 to Windows Server 2003 domain

Hello all,

I am trying to join this workstation (running the PDC version of Windows 7) to a Dell server running Server 2003. Here's the error I'm getting:

Link Removed due to 404 Error

Any help would be appreciated.

I'm having a similar issue. I couldn't get to my main shares on the LAN (two drives on a Network Attached Storage box) through the Network gui, all it shows is the current machine. On the other hand, I could manually enter the full path to each of the shares into Windows Explorer, and then dragged and dropped those to the desktop, creating two shortcuts. Now I can double-click one of those to get to the share window.

However, when I've got one of those windows open, the Network tab on the left pane, when expanded, shows the machine name of the NAS on it... but, if I click on that link, I get an error. Apparently, I can't get to the remote share machine unless I'm directly linked to the shared folder on it, and I can only do that manually.

I joined my W7 laptop to my domain at home, so I can verify that it can be done
