I upgraded laptop's (NEC Versa E6300) OS into Windows 7. At the beginning there was no problem, but after about 1 month of using it, i got strange problem with the keyboard. Some characters (m j k l ; u i o p 0) don't type as they are supposed to type, i.e. it these char instead: (0 1 2 3 - 4 5 6 * /). I tried to change country setting and also suggestion in some forum but no luck. Btw I am writing using on screen keyboard now!!

Here is what happen if I type the tittle using the normal keyboard: 2eyb6ard d6esn't ty*e c6rrect3y

Any suggestion is really appreciated.

Some laptop keyboards has built-in numeric keypads. This can be activated and deactivated only using key combination in keyboard.

If you're writing numbers instead of letters when you press the keyboard of your laptop and you must hold down the Function key (Fn) to write normally.

This is due to the fact that the digital lock is activated. To solve this, simply press the Fn+Numlk or depending of the model, press the button or Fn + Shift +Numlk.

Hope this helps,
