well, I couple of months ago I bought a Gateway laptop, one from the N series. About a month ago I got a blue screen, so I have been told to get the Recovery media discs, which I did. One system disc, 3 recovery discs and one language pack. After going through most of the process I ran into a problem. When I insert my 3rd recovery disc, my CD-drive opens up and asks for it again. And so on. I registered to this forum just because of this, so If you guys could help me I would appreciate it.
thanks.

You should be able to run a system recovery by simply booting the recovery process directly from your hard drive. The recovery process is commonly entered by repeatedly pressing F12 during startup but you may need to consult your user manual for guidance.

I can't do it from the hard drive. When I do it from the CD, everything works fine and after I put in the 3rd recovery disc, it just asks for it over and over again. Could this be a hardware problem?

thanks
