Windows 7 Mass effect

Seems to be running quite well. The sound actually works right on windows 7, it used to be all fudged up on XP for me.

I am running the 64bit client, and after install I am unable to make it past (through it even) the Configuration client... I can run the game through the executable in the Binaries folder, but that drastically alters the graphics settings, and causes quite a few display bugs in the game itself.

Any tips for making it past the Configuration during normal start up?
