2. Try Solution form Microsoft:

3. Go to your device manager and scroll to ide ata/atapi contollers. Go to the one your drive is on, primary, secondary etc. It is usually Secondary. Right click it and click properties. Go to advanced settings and change every transfer mode option to PIO Only. This should fix it.

5. Delete the extender from the configuration and retry connecting. I'm assuming that you've rebooted the computer prior to setting up the connection. I'm also assuming that you have the latest update from from Xbox Live when you did the initial...
