Windows 7 Microphone Use Speech Recognition

hi just wondering if anyone can help me out here. I have tried soo many things I'm thinking about selling my new microphone.
Every time i click on the Speech Recognition i always get this message an unexpected error occurred linking to the speech recognition control panel followed by a series of numbers.
If anyone can help me out it would be greatly appreciated.
(I have tried too many different softwares which i found to be confusing and none of the ones i downloaded worked. I have also tried changing the settings of language on my computer..)
please fix this error

Did you try the tutorial for speech recognition? or set up the mic for speech recognition im using the new logitec clear chat.. and its great.

I cannot access the tutorial for speech recognition because when i click on it, i always get the error message... The microphone is set up because I can hear my self but I can't get my computer to start using my voice to do commands or type
