Computerworld - Microsoft claimed yesterday that users will be able to complete a Windows 8 upgrade much faster, in some cases in one-tenth the time it took similar-configured PCs to upgrade to Windows 7.

So, they are advocating getting rid of Win-7 by upgrading to Win-8?

Ya know, it sounds like Win-8 is no more than a FIX, like a Service Pack, for Win-7.
Then they should sell the Win-8 upgrade for about $20.

It will be interesting to see how that pan's out. Eh?
