Microsoft to fix 34 vulnerabilities with next week's updates

Growing nicely under the hot summer sun, the batch of updates prepared by Microsoft for August's Patch Tuesday (August 10) is looking mighty fine as it includes 14 releases - 6 rated 'critical' and 8 labeled 'important', which are set to fix no less than 34 bugs.

The issues tackled by the upcoming updates affect Silverlight 2 and 3, Office XP, 2003, 2007, 2004 for Mac, 2008 for Mac, Windows XP, Vista, Windows 7, Windows Server 2003 and Server 2008 (R2), and Internet Explorer 6, 7, 8. It's going to be a busy Tuesday...
