Windows 7 Microsoft Wireless Laser Keyboard 7000

I'm running Win 7 RC build 7100 x64 with the Microsoft Wireless Laser Keyboard 7000. I've found that the batteries in the keyboard are lasting only 2 - 3 weeks, compared to months at a time under Vista. I've found that Windows isn't shutting down the keyboard when I shutdown the computer. Currently I'm taking the batteries out each night but this obviously isn't ideal!

I'm running the latest Intellitype software. Help, anyone? Please?

Wireless keyboard 7000

I have entered the paths I want to use on the 5 "favorites" keys. I have clicked the open specific web pages or files.... but it still launches the tool bar apps. I have downloaded the latest drivers (running windows 7 64 bit) and I cannot get these buttons to work. I have even uninstalled and re-installed the software. Any ideas?
