Windows 7 missing msvcr80.dll

Windows7 64 bit
custom enterprise image
HP laptops

trying to launch exe from Desktop will make this error come up and app wont launch. from some laptops it will and not others? I;ve tried installing the vcred stuff from Microsoft but still doesnt work. has all the updates

anything else i can try?

Hi

You probably have this fixed by now, but just out of curiosity I ran a search on my computer.
This file appeared in 12 different locations.

If you have multiple copies on your computer you can use any of them.

If you know which one is missing you can copy one of them to the location of the missing file.
