Windows 7 Monitor HELP!

We installed windows 7 tonight and it wont recognize out LCD monitor. I cant change the resolution and it wont allow me to change the monitor. Any ideas?

changing the resolution is controlled by your graphics card , is this properly installed, take a look in device manager for any warning signs ?
